Mab is one of the natural satellites of Uranus
Mab was discovered by Mark Showalter and Jack Lissauer on August 25th, 2003 using the Hubble Space Telescope. It was also in the Voyager 2 photos, but it was faint and it wasn't seen until scientists reexamined the photo.
- Mab orbits Uranus at the same distance as the Mu ring.
- Whenever Mab is struck by a meteorite, it supply's dust particles to Uranus's rings.
- It was named after a fairy queen mentioned in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."
- Mab's radius is 24 km.
